Email outage during the weekend of July 22 - 30

Introduction:

During the weekend of July 22 - 23, we experienced an email outage. In total, we received 135,000 emails, which resulted in a crash of our ticket system.


It took us three days to resolve this issue, and it was finally restored on Wednesday, July 27. During the period from approximately July 17 to July 30, some emails were lost, and some emails became corrupted.

Initially, we believed this issue was limited in scope. However, a month later, we realized that more emails and inquiries were lost than initially suspected. As a result, some users may have received few to no responses from us via email over the past two months.

We want to emphasize that this does not pose a risk to your privacy and does not constitute a breach of your data. It was rather the result of a system crash.

Currently, we are nearly back in full control, and we are doing our utmost to prevent such an incident from happening again in the future.
