Statistics (Publishing)

In the publication statistics you can view the statistics of your published content. Use the filter bar on the left to show or hide accounts in the graph. By default, all connected accounts available for your role are shown. Scroll down in the graph to load more accounts, and sort columns by clicking the arrows next to the column name.

For more in-depth information, also watch the videos on Campaign tags in statistics and the Post Optimiser.

Account overview

In the overview graph you can see all connected accounts. For each account you can see the number of fans/followers, the fan/follower growth (which can also be negative), the total number of engagements and the total number of impressions.

Please note

We only receive 30 days of statistics per publication. Statistics older than 30 days after the publication date are not provided by the platforms and are not visible in Engage. LinkedIn statistics are sent to us once every 48 hours, which may cause the statistics to differ.

Calendar Save as PDF
In the calendar you can choose from 'today', 'yesterday', 'last 7 days', 'last 14 days', 'previous month', 'current month', or select a 'start and end date'. When using 'start and end date', you can select a maximum of one year at a time. Please note! You can go back a maximum of 3 years.

You can save your statistics in PDF format. Go to 'Statistics' and select 'Save as PDF'. Please note! Bear in mind that each graph can display a maximum of 100 rows.

Published content (by type)

Every publication you post is classified as one content type. This can be text (when no image or video is used), image (when one or more images are used), or video (when a video is used; link previews are classified as text). This graph shows the total number per type across all accounts.

Engagements (by type)

This graph shows the engagements broken down by type. There are four types:

  • Clicks: The number of times a link, image or video in the publication was clicked.
  • Shares: The number of times a publication was shared (Facebook) or retweeted (Twitter).
  • Comments: The number of text replies on a publication.
  • Likes: The number of likes (Twitter) or reactions (Facebook) on a publication. Facebook reactions consist of like, love, sad, haha, angry and wow.

Impressions

This shows the impressions broken down by type. The following types are available:

  • Non-viral: The number of people who had content from your page displayed on their screen, not including instances where a friend of that person follows or likes your page, interacts with a post, shares a photo from your page, or checks in at your page.
  • Viral: The number of people who had content from or about your page displayed on their screen because a friend follows or likes your page, interacts with a post, shares a photo from your page, or checks in at your page.
  • Organic: The number of people who had content from your page displayed on their screen. The content was posted on the timeline without payment.
  • Paid: The number of people who had content from your page displayed on their screen. The publication was published as an advertisement, meaning payment was involved.

Fan/follower development

  • This graph shows the fan/follower development of all selected accounts. There are two types:
  • Like: Someone likes your page (Facebook) or follows your account (Twitter).
  • Unlike: Someone who previously liked your page has undone this and no longer likes the page (Facebook). For Twitter, this means the person has unfollowed your account.

Tip

Use the filter bar on the left to view fan development per account or to choose which accounts you want to view fan development for. By default, all connected accounts available for your role are shown.

Postings

This overview shows all published content. For each published item you can also see a number of statistics:

  • Date: The date and time the publication was posted.
  • Account: The account used to post the publication and the first part of the content.
  • Type: This corresponds to the information shown in the content by type graph. Every publication has one type (video, image or text).
  • Likes: The number of likes or reactions on a publication. Reactions consist of like, love, sad, haha, angry and wow. Click the (i) to see the specific reactions.
  • Engagements: The total number of actions people take in relation to your publication (including like, share, click, comment).
  • Comments: The number of text replies on a publication. Please note: these are top-level comments only, not sub-comments (so there may be a difference compared to the statistics on Facebook).
  • Impressions: The number of people who have seen the publication. This does not always mean the publication was actually read.
  • Shares: The number of times a publication was shared or retweeted.
  • Clicks: The number of times a link, image or video in the publication was clicked.
  • Reach: Reach is the number of people who have seen your post at least once.
