How can I adjust the status and business hours of my WhatsApp number?

When you have a WhatsApp number with Spotler, it is linked to our Meta Business Manager, allowing you to fully utilize the number. However, it's important to note that not all functionalities are available in the Meta environment. In the following help article, we will explain the differences in functionalities.

In the Meta environment for WhatsApp, there are limitations when it comes to setting business hours and adjusting the status of your WhatsApp Business account. Unfortunately, the Meta Business Manager does not offer the same functionalities as the WhatsApp Business app. This article contents the subjects:

Setting Business Hours

Setting business hours for your WhatsApp Business account is not possible in the Meta environment, but you can set business hours in the relevant stream.

The business hours set in a stream are used to measure response time. This response time is calculated only during the specified business hours. If a service level is set in the same stream, the service level is also calculated only during business hours.

  • Step 1: Click on the gear icon 'Open stream settings' at the top right of the stream.
  • Step 2: Click on 'Advanced settings' at the bottom left.
  • Step 3: Toggle the switch next to business hours to make them visible.
  • Step 4: Set the business hours for each day or click the blue 'Use default business hours' button if they have already been set in the settings.
  • Step 5: Click 'Save' to ensure the business hours for this stream are set correctly.

Adjusting Status

Changing your status, such as 'Available' or 'Away,' is not available in the Meta Business Manager.

Automatic Replies

Automatic replies cannot be set in the Meta Business Manager for WhatsApp. If you want to use automatic replies, you can purchase the 'Rules' module or the OoO Bot. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to inquire about the possibilities.

Out of Office Bot Business Hours

In an Out of Office (OoO) bot, when an automatic message is sent outside business hours, the business hours in the bot platform are adjusted.
