With Google Play Store reviews in Spotler Engage, you can view, respond to, and handle reviews from one central environment. After your Google Play account is connected, you create a search query and a stream to display the desired reviews in Engage.

Before you start
Before Google Play Store reviews appear in Spotler Engage, you need to complete the following steps:
- Connect a Google Play Store account in Engage.
- Create a search query for the desired setup. The search query determines which reviews and replies are shown in the stream.
- Set up a stream.

Step 1: Connect your Google Play Store account
Contact Spotler Support via support.engage@spotler.com and let them know you want to connect your organization's Google Play Store account to Spotler Engage. Once the connection is complete, Engage can retrieve reviews and replies from Google Play Store.
Step 2: Create a search query
In Spotler Engage, create a search query for the Google Play Store messages you want to manage. Use one of the following search queries, depending on the content you want.
Show all Google Play Store messages
Use this search query to retrieve both incoming reviews and replies from your own account:
bronsoort:googleplaystore
Show only incoming reviews
Use this search query to exclude messages from your own account. Replace accountnaam with the username of the connected account:
bronsoort:googleplaystore NOT user:"accountnaam"
Show only your own replies
Use this search query to retrieve only messages from your own account. Replace accountnaam with the username of the connected account:
bronsoort:googleplaystore AND user:"accountnaam"
Step 3: Create a stream
Create a stream based on the search query for Google Play Store. The stream automatically shows the messages that match the configured search criteria. Choose a clear name so team members immediately recognize that the stream is used for Google Play Store reviews.

Viewing and answering reviews
Once everything is set up, you work from the stream to view and answer incoming reviews.
For each review, you can among other things:
- read the content of the review;
- view the rating (number of stars);
- reply to the review;
- manage handling within your team.
After you post a reply, it is automatically published on the corresponding review in the Google Play Store.
