More information about the Media Monitor

If you want to create a screen with real-time information that updates automatically, you'll choose to create a new narrowcasting schedule. Narrowcasting operates based on one or more queries, and the link to the screen can be publicly shared.

Create New Narrowcasting

Step 1: Click 'Create New Narrowcasting' to add a new screen.

Step 2: A widget will appear where you set up several things for the first page of the screen. If you add additional pages, you'll get the same widget, allowing you to use different images or queries for each page. You can also adjust the font size (small, medium, or large) to ensure readability on all screens

Step 3: An empty screen is created, which you can customize with charts, images, and text blocks. Click the blue square button 'options & charts' on the left side of the screen to open all categories with charts. Open a category and drag and drop the charts onto the screen. You can move the charts around by grabbing them at the top and dragging them to a different position. In the bottom right, you can resize the charts. More details about the various functionalities of the charts can be found here.

Step 4: In the top right corner of the screen, there are four icons. Click the gear icon to adjust the screen settings. A widget will appear where you can change the name, queries, rotation speed, time period, and background. When your narrowcasting screen is ready, you can click the screen icon to view the screen and optionally share it. The number of pages is shown in gray; in this case, the narrowcasting screen has 2 pages. You can add a new page to your narrowcasting by clicking the plus icon. A widget will appear where you set the settings for the new page.

In all the charts you've dragged onto the screen, you can set filters. Click the gear in the top right corner of the chart to use a different query or filter messages with a tag. Click the trash can to remove the chart from the screen.
