Automatic reports

  Discover the Media Monitor

A new version of this functionality is ready for you in the Media Monitor, a module in Spotler Engage. Future development of this function will take place in the Media Monitor. Our advice is to switch over so that you can benefit from this. Is the Media Monitor not available in your environment? Contact us at customersuccessteam@spotler.com.

More information about the Media Monitor

All set automatic reports can be found via Settings > Automatic reports. Here you will find all subscriptions that are set in the environment. In this place you can also adjust an automatic report (pencil) or delete a subscription (trash can).

You can see who receives the report, which report the subscription is set to and how often the report is sent by email. To adjust the settings for the subscription, click on the pencil and change in the screen what kind of subscription it should be, how often the report should be sent and when the subscription should start.

Manage automatic reports

Settings External newsletter

In the grouping field you can choose between category and/or search query.

Grouping by category ensures that all messages are grouped by the following categories: social media, online, offline and RTV. With grouping by search query, if you use multiple search queries, all messages are grouped by search query. Grouping by search query and category means that with multiple searches in the newsletter, the grouping within the search query is also included by categories (social media, online, offline and RTV).

With the link 'open in webcare' in the email, recipients can also open the messages in Spotler Engage. This link can only be opened by users of Spotler Engage.

It is also useful that you can set the subject line of the email yourself. This allows the recipient of the email to immediately see what the email is about.

With the length of messages, you indicate whether the entire message is shown or only a snippet/part of the message.

Settings Internal newsletter

When adjusting an internal newsletter, you can adjust the time interval and convert the subscription to an external newsletter or a PDF export.

Settings Full reporting

When adjusting a full report, you can adjust the time interval and convert the subscription to an external or internal newsletter.

Set up automatic reports

It is possible to automatically receive Spotler Engage reports via email. You set up a subscription to a report by clicking on the middle icon ‘Subscribe to this report by email’ at the top right, just below the blue bar.

You can set up the subscription for yourself and/or others. In the drop-down, indicate whether you want to receive a full report or just the messages (Internal or External). If you set up a subscription to the full report, you will receive a PDF file.

If you set the subscription to ‘Internal newsletter’, an HTML newsletter will be sent with the last 100 messages from the report. The messages contain a link to open the messages in webcare so that the recipient can open the messages directly in Spotler Engage. This is especially useful for sending to colleagues who can also log in to Spotler Engage. The external newsletter differs in layout from the internal newsletter and shows a logo in the email, the subject line can be set yourself and the messages can be opened directly at the source. This newsletter can be used to inform customers or partners who do not work in Spotler Engage.

An automatic report can be sent daily, every other day, weekly, monthly or every first of the month. Then you indicate the time before which the report should be sent. Check users of the environment or fill in the email addresses of the recipients of the report at the bottom. The email addresses should be separated by semicolons.
