How does the automatic link shortener work?

Note:
You also have the option to disable the automatic link shortener. Administrators can do this in the account settings. Simply click on your name in the top-right corner, navigate to "General," and disable the link shortener option. Be sure to press "Save" at the bottom of the screen.

Once this option is disabled, links will no longer be shortened by default. However, if you want to shorten a link for a specific publication, you can manually do so by placing the link in the text field, clicking on the link, and selecting the 'shorten link' option. This will shorten the link only for that publication.

How does the link shortner works:

Step 1. Paste the URL link into your post.

Step 2. Click on the link to decide whether you want to activate the link shortener. Uncheck the option 'Shorten the URL in the message' if you do not want your link to be shortened. Leave this option checked if you want your link to be shortened.

Step 4. Click 'Save' to continue with your post and publish it.

Step 5. Your URL link is now automatically shortened on the social media platform.
