Introduction:
In this article you can read how to set up a newsletter. The newsletter offers the opportunity to structurally inform your stakeholders/colleagues about your reports.
- Step 1: Click on 'reports' at the top of the screen. Then click the orange button 'show all reports' at the bottom right and then choose your desired report.
- Step 2: Once the report is open, click on the airplane icon at the top right (see picture below).
- Step 3: A new 'Subscribe to this report' window opens and offers the following options:
What elements should the report contain:
You can set up the subscription for yourself and/or others. In the drop down you indicate whether you want to receive a full report or a message list (newsletter).
Full report:
If you subscribe to the full report, the recipient will receive a PDF file with an overview of all graphs from the report.
Internal newsletter:
If you set the subscription to 'Internal newsletter', an HTML newsletter will be sent with the last 100 messages from the report. The messages contain a link to open the messages in Webcare so that the recipient can open the messages directly in OBI Engage. This is especially useful to send to colleagues who can also log in to the OBI Engage environment.
External newsletter:
The external newsletter differs in layout from the internal newsletter and shows a logo in the mail, the subject line can be set yourself and the messages can be opened directly at the source. This newsletter can be used to inform customers or, for example, partners who do not work with OBI Engage.
How often would you like to receive this report:
An automatic report can be sent daily, every other day, weekly, every month or every first of the month. . Tick users of the environment or enter the email addresses of the recipients of the report at the bottom. The email addresses must be separated by semicolons.
Start at:
Indicate on which day the report should be sent.
Received for:
Specify what time the report should be sent.
Send to user(s):
Check the users of the environment or enter the email addresses of the recipients of the report at the bottom. The email addresses must be separated by semicolons.
Click on 'set up' at the bottom right and you have set up your newsletter!

Curious which newsletters you have set up?
Click on your name at the top right of OBI Engage and then click on 'Automatic reports'.
Here you will find all subscriptions that have been set up in the area. Here you can also edit an automatic report (by clicking the pencil) or remove a subscription (by clicking the trash can).
