Below, you'll find an overview of what's new or improved in the last month.
Offline messaging
Live chat messaging sees a massive improvement. Now, agents are able to send messages when the user is offline (e.g. another tab of the browser, anywhere else than the live chat widget). This makes it much easier to handle conversations with live chat users. When the user reconnects to the chat, the sent message from the agent is automatically delivered. Agens also see indicator icons of the message delivery status next to the date and time of the message. Hovering on an icon will show an explanation about the state, resulting in more clarity and efficient customer service.
Improved fallback mechanism for realtime notifications
The fallback mechanism for message retrieval has been enhanced when the connection to our realtime service breaks. Previously, agent device time discrepancies could cause delays. This improved fallback mechanism ensures accurate synchronisation and a smoother experience.
