This month we made improvements to Settings, Webcare and Media Monitor. Read the full release notes to find out what this means for you.

New features
- Dashboard Insights: in the beta feature Dashboard Insights you ask follow up questions about the visible result. The answer is based on the active search query, period, filters and language.
- Media Monitor: the new Photo Stream widget shows a collection of images from the messages in your results. This lets you quickly see which images are being shared around your topic. You add the Photo Stream widget to your dashboard the same way as other widgets.

Media Monitor: You can now search up to seven search queries at once via the search bar. For each search query you choose an AI prompt or a manual search query. From the search bar you select saved search queries, adjust the color, save and rename them. Click the pencil icon to edit the search query and see all options.

Media Monitor: We have renewed the Template Editor in Media Monitor. The editor now runs on the latest version of the Email Editor, which ensures more stable and reliable performance. Designing your template is more pleasant: you easily drag elements such as headings, buttons and social links into place, and your own blocks are easier to manage. Improvements
- Apostle integration: when there is a problem with user authentication, a specific error message appears instead of a general error message.
- Publishing: Advocacy is always shown in the sidebar of the publishing menu. If Advocacy is not available for your account or your connection is not working properly, you see an information page instead of the menu item being hidden.
- Settings: the Accounts, Reports, Reports Admin and Automatic Reports pages have been renewed and match the other renewed settings pages. The existing functionality of these pages remains unchanged.
- Two factor authentication (2FA): the settings page for two factor authentication has a new design that matches the other renewed settings pages.
- Settings navigation: settings pages can be grouped in a nested navigation, so related settings are grouped together more clearly and shown in a logical order.
- Dutch translations: the Dutch text in the software consistently uses the informal form. Formal words such as "u" and "uw" have been replaced by "je" and "jouw".
Resolved issues
- Reports: a date filter in the filter window of a chart could not be removed individually. You now remove a date filter the same way as other filters, without clearing all filters at once.
- Media Monitor: known errors when loading public Media Monitor reports have been resolved. As a result, public reports load more stably.
- Conversations: when opening a conversation with many messages, users and roles were requested multiple times simultaneously. The software now requests this data once and reuses the result, so conversations load more efficiently.
Stability and quality
- Test automation: automated tests have been added for the side filters in Media Monitor, and more manual quality checks have been replaced by automated end to end tests.
- Code quality: the software code has been further improved through an analysis of the SonarCloud results, standardized naming, a clearer structure of the date and time notation and addressing existing points of attention in the code. These changes are not visible in the software, but make future updates more reliable.

To keep the Help Center up to date, articles have been added or updated with new information. The following articles are new:

Summary
The most important changes in the Engage releases of September 2026 are the ability to ask follow up questions in the Insights beta feature, the new Photo Stream widget, the renewed search bar and Template Editor in Media Monitor and managing the Webcare tag synchronization yourself via the general settings.
In addition, the Apostle integration error messages are clearer, Advocacy is always shown in the publishing menu, more settings pages have been renewed, Help Center articles have been added or updated and public Media Monitor reports, conversations and date filters work more stably.
An optional action is only needed if you want to use Dashboard Insights or the Photo Stream widget, or if you want to change the Webcare tag synchronization.
