Product Update | 19 October 2026

This release includes a new setting to turn off AI per environment, improvements to Media Monitor Insights and TikTok replies, several bug fixes and maintenance on the Facebook integration. Only the AI setting requires a choice on your part; no action is needed for any of the other changes.

  • Turn AI on or off per environment: In Engage, AI functionality can now be turned off for the entire environment. The setting applies to AI in Media Monitor and Publishing. This is important for organisations that want to decide for themselves whether AI is used within their Engage environment, for example based on internal policy. If the setting is not turned off, AI functionality in Engage remains available as you are used to. See here how to turn AI on or off: How do I turn AI features on and off in Engage?
Turning AI features on or off
  • Media Monitor Insights improvements (Beta): Media Monitor Insights is the module in Engage that lets you create analyses and ask questions about your monitoring results. The dashboard and conversations in Insights have been improved in terms of security, permissions, error handling, translations and usage limits. Read here how to use Insights: How do I use Insights in Media Monitor?

  • Longer TikTok replies: The maximum number of characters for a TikTok reply in Engage has been increased from 150 to 1,200 characters. You can now give more complete answers without shortening a reply or splitting it across multiple messages. Read here how to use TikTok in Engage: How do I use TikTok in Engage?

Resolved issues

  • Webcare statistics: the chart showing agents' online time incorrectly displayed "number of agents" as the unit. The chart now shows the correct unit of time.
  • Chat window: the focus contrast has been improved, so the chat window better meets the WCAG accessibility guidelines.

Maintenance and stability

The Facebook integration has been upgraded so that it remains compatible. The software has been technically improved and the automated tests have been expanded.
