Product Update July 2025

This release introduces new capabilities, enhanced integrations, and various usability and technical improvements across Engage.

Improvements

  • TikTok real-time updates: You will now see real-time updates when TikTok posts change status (e.g., pending → published → failed), improving transparency in the publishing process.

  • TikTok comment management: It will now be possible to show, hide, or delete TikTok comments directly from Webcare, giving users full moderation control similar to other social channels.

  • TikTok like/unlike comments: You can soon like or unlike TikTok comments directly, enabling quicker engagement with audiences.

  • FD API integration: FD content will now be retrieved via the official API instead of RSS, ensuring continued and reliable data delivery.

  • Instagram Reels aspect ratio warning: A new alert will notify users if a Reel doesn’t meet the 9:16 aspect ratio, preventing unwanted cropping or blank spaces in published content.

  • Monitoring by country: A country filter is being added to the alert modal, allowing users to fine-tune alerts by region — expanding on the Monitoring beta from sprint 89.

  • Improved mobile notifications: Notification toasters in Webcare’s mobile (PWA) view will appear less frequently and take up less space, offering a smoother and less disruptive experience.

  • iOS input zoom fix: The unwanted zoom that occurs when typing in small input fields on iOS has been resolved, ensuring a stable typing experience in Webcare.

  • Custom video thumbnails TikTok: Users can now select a custom thumbnail for TikTok videos — either from the media picker or a chosen frame within the video — ensuring full control over how their content appears.

Bug fixes

  • The logbook now shows when a message is moved by an automation rule.
  • Excel exports now support date filtering and include the source type.
  • The publishing limit for URLs has increased from 200 to 2000 characters.
  • Fixed an issue where LinkedIn statistics were not visible in the conversations overview.
  • Fixed a bug where LinkedIn Webcare statistics were not visible in the conversations overview.
  • Fixed an issue where LinkedIn accounts could not be removed if the token had expired.
