Flexible use of numbers and channels

The WhatsApp number can be:
- An existing number already active within Engage

This allows organizations to reuse their existing Engage setup while also supporting new messaging use cases through Spotler Message.
Message functionality remains available
Although campaigns are initiated from Spotler Engage, message delivery is handled by Spotler Message.
This means capabilities such as template management, delivery optimization, WhatsApp delivery, and SMS delivery remain fully available.
Support for rich messaging
The Campaign Module supports advanced messaging capabilities, including:
- Interactive messages
- WhatsApp Flows
- Button-based messaging
These messages are processed in the same way and customer responses automatically return as conversations within Spotler Engage.
2. Receive SMS alerts based on Engage search queries
The integration also allows you to receive SMS notifications based on search query alerts configured within Spotler Engage.
Normally, Spotler Engage supports email notifications when a configured search query produces a match. Through the Spotler Message integration, these notifications can also be delivered as SMS messages by using a mail-to-SMS setup to convert email notifications into SMS alerts.
The process works as follows:
- An email alert is configured in Engage for a specific search query.
- The notification email is sent to a unique email address.
- The email address is connected to an email-to-webhook Zap within Zapier.
- The Zap forwards the notification to the Spotler Message SMS gateway.
- Spotler Message delivers the notification as an SMS alert.
As a result, you receive real-time SMS notifications whenever a configured search query produces a match.
SMS alert recipients
The recipients of SMS alerts are managed within the SMS Portal of Spotler Message.
Organizations can:
- Configure a single recipient
- Configure multiple recipients
- Adjust recipients without making changes in Engage or Zapier
This provides full flexibility in determining who receives monitoring alerts.
