The search queries described in this article are required to use the Webcare Module. For more extensive monitoring options, see the Media Monitor Module.
For this example, we will use the Instagram account of OBI4wan. Wherever the explanation mentions 'spotler,' you should use your own Instagram account name when creating a search query. There are various things you can search for, with the first search query being the most comprehensive:
Option 1: Posts from an Instagram account, comments on these posts, and mentions (hashtags, your own comments, and posts):
(account:spotler OR spotler) AND source:instagram
Option 2: The same search query as above, but with your own comments filtered out:
((account:spotler OR spotler) AND source:instagram) NOT user:spotler
Option 3: Filtering out your own posts, without your own private messages/comments (in all cases, you place what's inside the parentheses first and then filter out your own account with 'user'):
(account:spotler AND source:instagram) NOT user:spotler
Option 4: Posts with a specific hashtag
After you've added hashtags to your sources (read here how to do that), you can also incorporate them into your search query and search for them. For example, if you've added the hashtag 'obi4wan,' you can then include it in your Instagram search query.
(spotlerAND source:instagram)
Option 5: Instagram Story Mentions
With the following operator you can find all Instagram Story Mentions:
- context:"Story mention"
