The search queries described in this article are required to use the Webcare Module. For more extensive monitoring options, see the Media Monitor Module.
In this article, we will use Spotlers Facebook page as an example. Wherever "spotler" is mentioned in the explanation, you should use the Facebook page name when creating a search query. Please note that a Facebook page name should always be written in lowercase. There are various things you can search for, with the first three options being the most commonly used.
Option 1: All posts made on a Facebook page (comments and posts to the page, private messages, as well as your own comments and posts):
account:spotler AND bronsoort:facebook
Option 2: All posts on Facebook in which you are mentioned (posts on your own Facebook page and posts on other Facebook pages):
spotler AND bronsoort:facebook
Option 3: All posts on Facebook but excluding the posts made from the account (this filters out your own posts and your own comments):
(spotler AND bronsoort:facebook) NOT user:spotler
Additionally, it is also possible to search for specific types of posts on Facebook, such as private messages or comments on the page:
Option 4: Facebook private messages
account:spotler AND posttype:conversation
Option 5: Facebook comments
account:spotler AND bronsoort:facebook AND posttype:comment
Option 6: Facebook posts placed directly on the page (not comments but direct posts on the page)
account:spotler AND posttype:status
Option 7: Facebook posts that contain a URL/link
account:spotler AND posttype:link
Option 8: Facebook posts with a photo
account:spotler AND posttype:photo
Option 9: Facebook posts with a video
account:spotler AND posttype:conversation
Option 10: Excluding your own posts, excluding your own private messages/replies (in all cases, you place the first part in parentheses and then filter out your own account with 'user'):
(account:spotler AND posttype:comment) NOT user:spotler
